Overall reading conclusion for last year is why oh why did I wait so long to get on the Rick Riordan bandwagon. One of my goals for this year is to at least get a few more nonfiction books in there, there are some collecting dust on my shelves that have sat there unread for far too long.
While on hiatus I had a couple reviews published over at GQkidz.org: Mockingjay Part One and Battle of the Five Armies. Writing reviews for GQkidz has been fun, and I hope to continue this year! It gives me an extra excuse to be opinionated about the movies I see.

I enjoyed it more than I thought I would! It was very good, very very different from what I normally read. I hadn’t read Francine Rivers in a long time and forgot what a good writer she was.
