412teens.org
At the beginning of this year, my sister’s dear friend MangyCat said her work was starting a new website specifically for teens to answer theology and life questions. To say I was thrilled about this ministry was an understatement. I had been researching into the parent company, gotquestions.org, and was very impressed. It is so difficult to find answers to questions to Bible and theology questions online that offer directly what does the Bible say. Not just someones opinion, but what does Scripture say. I have found gotquestions.org to be invaluable, because even if I don’t entirely, 100% agree with their interpretation of a passage, they’ve done the research of the verses pertaining to an issue and I can go in, pull the references, and come to my own conclusion.
412teens is based off of one of my all time favorite verses, “Let no one look down on your youthfulness, but rather in speech, conduct, love, faith and purity, show yourself an example of those who believe.” 1 Timothy 4:12. It is there to encourage young people to ask their questions- no question is dumb- and have it answered in a manner that is clear, and yet not have it watered down or not be supported in Scripture.
A couple of the articles I had the chance to write:
How can I know if something is a sin?
And some of my favorites by other authors:
How should a Christian teen handle an unwanted pregnancy?
Should Christians go to parties?
Even if you don’t read any of the articles, it is one of the most creative and fun looking websites I’ve seen in a while, so check it out.
