Tomorrowland- Review

Tomorrowland

Each year I make a list of the movies I want to see in theatres. For the most part I hope for the best and won’t be too disappointed in a movie isn’t spectacular. But every once in a while there is a movie that comes along that each time I see the trailer I hope ‘please be good, please be good, please be good.’ Tomorrowland was one of those movies.

Unfortunately, the fairest review of this story that is loosely (very loosely) based on the land at Disneyland is that it is botched potential. It is a joy to look at and it is well acted, it made me laugh more than once, and it doesn’t really have a point. I do believe there is a plot in there, but for the most part nothing is explained. And not in a good way, in a ‘wait? But why was the machine created in the first place?’ way.

Oh! And we got free pins from Regal. Which really? Made going on opening day to worth it.
